Living life with a 2 year old....

Lily just turned 2 on April 5th and all of a sudden she's acting like she knows everything and I know nothing! lol She has started to talk so much and talks back to me sometimes! Earlier tonight I was trying to get her to eat dinner and she told me, "I want to color right now". I was like....oooooookay. I mean, what are you supposed to say to that??? Honestly, she said it so seriously, that I was trying really hard not to laugh! My mom was laughing, which didn't really help the situation at all lol

I love that little girl so much that it hurts sometimes. I don't know what I would do without her!

Another party for Lily!

Today my parents gave Lily another birthday party. Her birthday was last Saturday, the 5th, and we had a party in Mississippi, but Mom wanted to have a party for all my family in Texas. My dad set up a fire pit and we roasted weenies for hot dogs, had cake and ice cream, and opened some presents. Then we roasted some "marmallows" (like Lily says!!). We had a nice group of my family show up. Dad had just set up a swing set and Lily, my nieces and nephew, and one of my little cousins had the best time playing on it! It was such a nice day to be outside, too. It wasn't too hot or too cold, just right.

But I am SO worn out! Running after a 2 year old is exhausting!! lol

I still cannot believe that my baby girl is 2! She's so grown up already. Everyday it's something new that brings a smile to my face. I love her so much!

Baseball Game

This afternoon Lily and I went with my parents and my sister to see my nephew, Hayden, play baseball for the first time. He did such a great job! He played baseball last year, but he's gotten so much better since then. Lily had fun, too. There was a little girl there that was about 5 or so and Lily and her 2 cousins were having a blast playing in the sand with her.

Tomorrow my parents are throwing Lily another birthday party for all my family here in Texas. A good amount of people are probably going to show up, so we will be quite busy tomorrow afternoon. We're going to roast weenies and marshmallows for the kids. It's going to be so much fun for them! I can't wait!

My First Blog!

First I'll start off by telling a little about my family. I've never really blogged before, so bear with me lol

I'm Ashlee and I have a fiance named Wayne. We've been together for almost 5 years. He's the love of my life and I'm so lucky to have him in my life. I'm a stay at home mommy to our beautiful 2 year old daughter, Lily. I love staying at home and spending everyday with her. She brightens my days and puts everything in perspective for me. I love her with all my heart!

We live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and love it! It's so beautiful and we're 5 minutes away from the beach! Most of my family lives in Texas, so the reason I'm starting this blog is so they can have somewhere to go to get updates on us and Lily. And I have a lot of online friends that I love, but never get to see, so they can visit here and get updates, also.

I've got some more work to do on this, I know, and I'll get to it, I promise! I hope everyone enjoys my blog!
